I have to give this the thumbs up, I downloaded and tested it out today.

Bring life to your desktop with fun, stylish, and useful Yahoo! Widgets.

To get Widgets on your desktop, you first need to download the Yahoo! Widget Engine.

Then you can go get Slaine’s WoW Realm Status Widget or even the Thottbot Search Widget by Benjamin Baumann.
