Possibly the best post ever on this blog was The Official Beer. If only for the fact that we got a lengthly legal decision from Mensrea. Read it again for the first time! Maybe we will revisit the subject in October of 2007, as “the court will reprimand the case for future hearings.”

Things have gotten way to quiet here. We need a lively discussion.

Hmm, what to discuss? There’s always the 9mm vs. 45acp debate. Nah, that gets too nasty too quick. Hottest yodeling supermodel/beer commercial chick? Eh, too cliched. Hmm, this is a tough one.

Oh, I know – Tell me what you think of the radical foreign policy shifts in Nousfarqistan enacted by the Prime High Muckety-muck as a reaction to the violence and risque sexual scenes in Amish movies. Luck or careful planning?

The Official Beer

There was not a majority winner in the race for the official beer. We have a two way tie…Guinness Draught: 50% (2) & Nostradamus: 50% (2).

Someone may remember a vote for Shiner, I don’t, so there isn’t. I have asked the Court of the J&C Blog to determine the election. Since Mensrea is our legal eagle, I appoint & confirm him to the post of Chief Justice. Arlen Specter concurs.

Does this seem like a rigged poll? Too bad. We will await Mensrea’s decision.

It appears that someone is holding out on voting for the official beer. If the poll closes without all votes in, Budweiser Select will be chosen by default – and no one wants that.

Spurred on by Mensrea’s comments, I have added a poll for the official J&C beer. It is located on the sidebar, you have to be logged in to vote, plus I have added an add your own link so you can, well, add your own. My apologies if Nostra is not supposed to be two words…just copied it from ratebeer.com.

Since Oracle seems to be on a beer kick-

The official beer of The High Road is Shiner Bock. I think we need our own official beer. Any suggestions?
