Spotted this sign on the drive into the office this morning.

I didn’t know: a) they had gun shows in Frisco, b) that one was going on this weekend.

This might be a problem for my wallet.  The entrance line was stretched out around the building.

Frisco Gun Shows are held at the Dr Pepper Arena – 2601 Avenue of the Stars, Frisco TX 75034.

July 31 & August 1, 2010

Show Hours
Saturday 9am to 5pm
Sunday 10am to 5pm
Vendor Set-up Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 7:30am to 9am

Admission
General Admission – $8
Children UNDER 12 – Free
Uniformed Peace Officers – Free

Weekend Pass – $12.00, return FREE on Sunday.

Plenty of FREE Parking

    Hi Aubrey — Thanks for the update. That is quite disappointing to read. It looks like it’s organized by the same folks who do the Fort Worth Gun Show, but since I haven’t been to that one either – I can’t compare the two. I will skip this one and wait until it comes back in November to check it out. Hopefully they will have worked out the kinks by then.

    I went to the Frisco Gun Show this morning, 31 Jul arriving around 10:30. There was a very long line to get in with only one lady collectiong the money, the upstairs kiosk area was very crowded and almost impossible to pass people, the downstairs area was almost as bad. The concession area was very crowded with only one operator and a very long line so I gave up and left by the nearest exit. Hope there are some improvements for next year.
