I can’t image dropping Dolly off at groomers and leaving her there, not my girl. Dawn did a great job and Dolly got the works and is a very happy doggy!
Greg writes: “This ten-minute home video is called “How It All Ends,” and is the result of hundreds of hours of research and production, stemming from an earlier video I produced, titled “The Most Terrifying Video You’ll Ever See.” ::
“The Most Terrifying Video”, posted on the web six months ago, made a novel argument for taking action on global climate change, and has garnered over 4 million views on various websites. Reading the 6000+ comments on that video””most of them critical””allowed me to hone my argument, so that now it is””as far as I’ve been able to tell””undeniable. Repackaged in “How It All Ends,” the argument is backed up by over 6 hours of “expansion pack” videos, anticipating and answering every single objection that I’ve been able to elicit from skeptics. Sounds impossible, yes. But then, I’ve been maniacally thorough.”
START HERE AFTER WATCHING “How It All Ends.” This is the roadmap to the “Expansion Pack” videos accompanying the video “How It All Ends.” This is how you find your way around the hours of argumentation contained in the almost four dozen “Expansion Pack” videos, including finding the video which has anticipated and already answered your objection or question about the argument given in “How It All Ends.”
For your navigation pleasure, the URLs of the entire “Expansion Pack” are listed below. Just click and enjoy! (Or, have the hairs on the back of your neck raised. . . )
The original video and the entire “Expansion Pack” are also available for download as MP4 files, available for editing, burning, subtitling, mashing up, ripping off, parodying, whatever. Contact wonderingmind42 directly for those.
Zumobi is a zooming interface & mobile widget platform for mobile devices. I tested it out on my AT&T Tilt and was underwhelmed. My user experience can be summed up in three words: bloated, slow, & buggy. Oh, and it was a resource hog and did I mention slow, man was it slow. You would think from all the demo videos that you’d be able to zoom around, but that just wasn’t happening.
I’ve been puttering around Hulu for a couple of weeks now and I can safely say that it has been an enjoyable experience. I’ve managed to catch up on 30 Rock, Family Guy, & The Simpson. In addition, I also watched a couple of minutes from the first episode of Doogie Howser, MD. The quality of playback and speed factor for me has been excellent, although I haven’t had playback problems on NBC, CBS, ABC video sites.
There user interface is intuitive and has a couple of simple, useful features that I find myself using every time I watch an episode online. Like an option to dim the top #1 & bottom #2 navigation areas. From the action bars that flank the playing video, you can choose to go full screen, pop the video out, lower the lights (dim area #1 & #2), rate the video, share via email, embed the video on your site, view episode details or give feedback.
Right Action Bar | Shown above in the #2 section flanking the playing video.
Left Action Bar | Shown above in the #2 section flank the playing video.
Sample Embed for everyone, the 30 Rock x-mas episode.
