That article by it’s very nature is racist. I quote, “Please don’t use the term ‘race’ to refer to the Chinese. It is an old term from the days when Europeans wanted to find a biological reason for their dominance in the world. The Chinese are best described as a society.”
Codiac
But…but…They’re Europeans! They colonized a good portion of the known world and are in no way a minority. I mean, come on. It can’t be racism unless it’s a minority, right? Right?

Anytime you refer to a subset of a culture as the culture you are being somewhat discriminatory. IE (Not all Gun Nuts are Glock Nuts)
Oracle
So what you are saying is that culture by nature is discriminatory? The whole are just the sum of all of the parts. the reference isn’t really discriminatory more of stereotyping, discriminating is acting apon the sterotype in a malicious manner.

Oracle – I respectfully disagree…
discriminatory adj 1: being biased or having a belief or attitude formed beforehand; “a prejudiced judge” [syn: prejudiced] [ant: unprejudiced]
Discrimination doesn’t require action – sometimes inaction is just as bad.
